I started Inland Curry in May of 2017 with the help of my daughter, Mallory. I had spent five months helping my good friend Pete Hicks at Sandpoint Curry and decided to try the same weekly take-out model in Spokane.
Since then, we have offered a rotating menu of Indian (and occasionally Thai) curries every Thursday on Spokane's lower South Hill. We have made a lot of curry and a lot of friends over the past couple years.
Beginning in January of 2018, we began hosting an international dinner series featuring guest cooks from Spokane's refugee and immigrant communities. So far, we have had the privilege of offering Nepali, Afghan, Kenyan, Peruvian, Kurdish, Jordanian, and Syrian cuisines.
We are also involved in opening a rotating take-out restaurant in the near future called Feast World Kitchen, which will help former refugees and immigrants start small food businesses (like Inland Curry) and bring more delicious international food to Spokane.
You can find us every Thursday at The Spokane Woman's Club (1428 W. 9th Ave.) from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
